Description
Welcome to CeramaZart’s exclusive collection, where every piece has its own story. Our handmade ceramic art combines rich Armenian cultural heritage with modern aesthetics.
This versatile bowl (28 cm) is crafted from high-quality Spanish white clay by skilled artisans. Each piece undergoes a multi-stage process: hand-forming, drying, first firing, illustration, coloring, glazing, and final firing. The result is both a practical everyday piece and a beautiful expression of Armenian cultural heritage.
Arevagorgs were the ancestral symbols on carpets of Melik-Beglarians, the meliks (rulers) of Gyulistan.
The main colors used in carpets are the various shades of red, blue and brown. One can see the bloomed cross in the middle, surrounded by sun rays, which is the symbol of light and enlightenment in Armenian symbolism. It also symbolizes protection.
With its comfortable depth and size, this bowl is perfect for a variety of uses – from hot soups and hearty salads to morning cereals and evening desserts. The glazed interior ensures easy cleaning, while the decorated exterior adds artistic beauty to your table setting. Whether used for casual daily meals or special occasions, this bowl combines practicality with cultural artistry, bringing the power and mystique of ancient Armenian symbolism to your table.
